(8vo) 22.5x15 cm (9x5¾"), original cloth-backed printed boards. First Edition. Rare Colorado directory containing a history and description of Cripple Creek and sketches of towns within the Cripple Creek mining district, with descriptions of business establishments and some biographical information about the owners. There are business directories of Altman, Anaconda, Mound City, and Victor, and a directory of the mines of the district. Howes calls for a view, but he is in error. Howes C888; Streeter 2206. Lot Amendments Condition: Boards lightly worn, period ink stamp "Compliments of Colburn's Stationary Store" on front, cup ring stain on front, hinges repaired; light foxing; very good.
