SCHOYEN DENVER, COLO. , with false-muzzle and aluminum bullet starter, three scope blocks, original Stevens single shot Model 53 action, factory scroll engraved in a broad scroll pattern, action mounted with fine adjustable peep-sight, finger-groove under-lever, walnut fore-end with barrel-shaped palm-rest, walnut pistol-grip stock with heavy brass Swiss butt-plate 30 inch (76.2 cm.) barrel With its original quarter-sawn oak accessory chest containing Ideal .38 bullet mold (dove-tailed brass inserts in iron blocks), unusual iron and brass bullet lubricating tool, cartridge primer/de-capper, an adjustable scope ring (one), spare palm-rest, eye-piece for vintage scope, box of .32-40 Pope Model bullets by Tobe Watkins, and a Weaver scope. George C. Schoyen of Denver, famous barrel maker, succeeded Carlos Gove in 1884.
