Beschreibung:

For the 1936 season Sunbeam offered seven different models, the smallest in the range being the overhead valve-engined 250cc Model 23. The fuel tank was now chrome with black panels and blue and gold lining, a distinctive feature, lifting the overall appearance and bringing it in line with some of its major rivals. The sports model featured the high exhaust which endeared it to those who tackled the more challenging endurance trials of the period. The 250 retailed at £49/10s in 1936 but for the 1937 season the price had increased dramatically to £58. This machine was first registered on 31st December 1936 in Birmingham. It is equipped with Ariel front forks and has electric lighting. The buff log book suggests just one owner from 1937 to 1953 and tax discs from 1943 to 1952 come with the bike in a display frame. It is also offered with old style buff log book and a Swansea V5 document.
