World War I Era uniform and ephemera grouping that is attributed to Floyd McAllister. Corporal Floyd McAllister first served in the US Army during the First World War possibly with Company F, 353rd Infantry, 89th Division. The records are sparse but, it appears his service dates would be from 1917-1919. He later joined the Marine Corps for a second enlistment in the 1920s. The lot includes McAllister's dress blue tunic and pants. The tunic is stamped by the USMC Quartermaster's Depot in the sleeve and dated "1922-1923". The trousers are also stamped with an illegible date. The tunic corporal chevrons on each arm and a pair of screw back EGAs on the collar. Both tunic and trouser retain their original USMC buttons. Slight stains, but the set is very clean overall. The uniform is complete with McAllister's dress blue cover and a riker mount containing various replacement buttons and a Good Conduct Medal. Also included are 3 overseas hats, 1 is a wool USMC hat complete with EGA, another is a post-World War I marked "Top Flighter", and the third is a red VFW hat with EGA. There are 2 photo albums with the group. The larger album mostly contains the photo archives of the McAllister family and the smaller album contains more military related photos. Along with the photo albums are a few books pertaining to the US Marine Corps. There are also 3 framed "yard long" photos which are dated between 1921-1923. Lastly, there is a silk 48 star flag.
