II", 7 engraved plates, most portraits, wood-engraved illustrations (light browning, the parts to The Compleat Angler not bound in), uncut in contemporary boards (rebacked). Provenance : C.F.G.R. This rare and short-lived magazine put strong emphasis on pugilism, but also reported on angling, cocking, hawking, coursing, and more unusually pedestrianism, rowing, aquatic sports, "the golf" and, in June and July, cricket.
