(Original title cut down and mounted, worming in the text at beginning and end, some worming in the margins affects a few illustrations slightly, tear in f.207 touching text, a few repaired tears in the margins, occasional light spotting and discolouration). 16th-century German blind-stamped pigskin over wooden boards with clasps. (Sides very wormed, corners worn, lacks clasp-holders). FIRST EDITION of the Nuremburg Chronicle. A German edition appeared just over five months later.
