The principal work of Antoine Auguste Walras, father of Léon, in which can be found the point of departure for Léon's marginal utility theory. - Wide margined uncut and unopened copy. Faint browning throughout. Orginal printed wrappers, rubbing, staining, the warped wrappers laid on china paper, marginal loss to front cover and tears to spine repaired, old owner's inscription. Preserved in a recent cloth clamshell box, gilt title to red calf spine label. - Enclosed is a short anonymous contemporary critique of the work from "Extrait de la Revue normandie".
