.38 caliber, 31.75" octagonal barrel, NSN. Blade front sight with v-notch block rear sight and muzzle rounded for use of false muzzle. Double-set triggers. Brass ramrod pipes, sideplate, trigger guard, buttplate and toe piece. Brass ovoid patch box with crescent moon stock insert, likely of German silver. Top of barrel marked "W. FARVER". Condition: Good. Barrel has a smooth dark chocolate patination with some light scratches and blemishes. Stock has some handling marks and imperfections but is otherwise free of cracks, splits, and major damage. Brass fittings have a dull luster. Lock is non-functional, does not hold at half cock. Bore is good; some old pitting and fouling with visible riling. Easily cleaned.
