TWO NORTH AFRICAN DAGGERS, A SUDANESE ARM KNIFE, TWO CENTRAL AFRICAN CEREMONIAL DAGGERS, AND A CENTRAL AFRICAN THROWING KNIFE Late 19th and 20th Centuries The first with curved double-edged fullered blade, silver-mounted wooden hilt (one silver rosette missing), and silver pommel-cap decorated with silver studs and braided wire, and silver-mounted leather scabbard with pierced locket, the chape with applied decoration, and fluted spherical tip; the second with plain blade, wooden grip bound with copper wire, large brass pommel, and brass-mounted red leather scabbard; the third with leaf-shaped fullered blade, leather and snakeskin grip, triangular iron pommel, and tooled red leather and snakeskin scabbard; the fourth and fifth each with iron blade, cast brass hilt decorated with waved designs, reeded grip, and lozenge-shaped pommel surmounted by standing figures, the scabbard also of brass decorated en suite with the hilt; the last of iron with leather-bound handle The first 21in.
