Beschreibung:

The first with broad curved double-edged blade with low medial ridge along each side, and waisted dark wood hilt of oval section applied with two metal bosses on each side with Arabic inscriptions centred on a tughra mark, in original wood-lined silver scabbard decorated in imitation of filigree work; the second with similar blade (some pitting), and waisted hilt entirely covered in silver decorated with raised flowerheads; the third each with curved blade, waisted hilt and scabbard each of characteristic form, chased with foliate designs and partly overlaid with silver, one hilt with cold enamel in yellow, red and black; and the last comprising a dagger with curved blade, and wooden hilt of nimcha form inlaid with brass wire and roundels, in brass-mounted wooden scabbard decorated en suite, and two arm-daggers with brass-mounted horn and bone hilts, one in its original brass scabbard (7) The first 25 cm. blade
