Few minor creases in plate, few scratches on plate. Case with some chipping, and top hinge partially separated from case cover. Uncased tintype, 2.5 x 3.875 in., of a soldier, housed under paper mat identifying the subject as "Civil War Artillery." The soldier sits with sword across his lap, posed before scenic backdrop. Mottling and some scratches to surface of tintype.
