(Without blank leaves A1, A6, O8, wormtrack in first quire, some dampstaining.) 20th-century light brown morocco, blindtooled sides with diapered panel filled with trefoils, spine gilt, upper fore-edges lettered. Provenance : Parma, monastery of St. John the Evangelist (contemporary inscription struck through) -- Jacob ?Gallizi (17th-century inscriptions, a few later scribbles, headlines added in a later hand) -- William Foyle (bookplate; sale Christie's 11 July 2000, lot 282).
