STORNELLO SPORT 1966 VIN No. I*42FH* 113 cc – 4-Stroke Registered, with documents Not valid MOT At the end of the 1950s, 125 cc displacement was the market’s favourite as it allowed manufacturers to offer models that were inexpensive to buy, with sufficient performance. In the Italian market – the main contenders had important names: Gilera, MV Agusta, Moto Morini and also decidedly important and successful models. Moto Guzzi certainly could not miss this great opportunity and, in 1959, presented the model Stornello, with two versions: Turismo and Sport. Open double-cradle frame in steel tubes, telescopic fork, swinging arm and tele-hydraulic shock absorbers, and a 4-stroke single-cylinder engine of 125 cc, inclined forward by 25°. The Stornello proposed is a finely restored Sport and equipped with the characteristic “ox horn” handlebars. A general mechanical check-up is recommended before use.
