On 1st page of 4-page legal-sized conjugate. 1805. * Large manuscript survey of “Township No. 39, North, Range & East,” showing land belonging to Pierre Chouteau and Thomas Madden, and many plots sold, also indication of unconfirmed claims of John Smith T and Elijah Benton. c.1825. Together, 3 items. Rare land surveys and documents from the early period of U.S. possession of Louisiana Territory. Provenance: Descended in the Benjamin O’Fallon family.
