A tall case clock in mahogany by Robertson of Glasgow, having a straight molded bonnet top with plain frieze, conch shell and line inlay, figural painted face with Roman numeral and signature, above molded pendulum door, overall case with checkered inlaid decoration, molded waist rising on French feet; ht. 86, wd. 20, dp. 10.5 in. Condition: Age splits to bonnet case on left and right side of hood, and reticulated decorations repaired (possibly not original). Repair to visible splits in bonnet below shells. Splits and warping of veneer on all sides of box, and repair to spot on top back right of box.
