A tall case clock in mahogany, having a flat top bonnet with molded cornice and brass ball finials, over a polychrome painted dial with Roman numerals and a scene depicting Rob Roy, the Scottish folk hero, in the arched crest, the spandrels painted with florals, over a waisted case supported by bracket feet, dial inscribed Rob Roy / Act 5 ? / Scene ?; ht. 92.5, wd. 21.25, dp. 10 in. Condition: Damage and losses to side panels on hood. Warping damage to box sides of box base. Age split down right side of case. Light wear to hood corners. Damage and wear to back feet.
