Mid-19th century half calf over marbled boards. 9 x 6 inches (15.5 x 23.5 cm); 27 pp., bound with 2 portraits of Fuseli (one dated 1825), a manuscript account of Fuseli by the writer of Spanish travelogues Richard Ford and five other sale catalogues in various categories. Ford has additionally signed the title page and annotated some of the prices and buyers, also with 1945 ownership signature of Ruthven Todd to front endpaper, the binding worn with the rear board detached and the spine separated from the text block. This scarce auction catalogue of Henry Fuseli's important collection of books, prints, paintings and drawings also included the original grouping of John Abbot's entomological watercolors of Georgia.
