KENNEDY CAMPAIGN] KENNEDY, JOHN FITZGERALD. Signed program and podium used by Kennedy in 1960 Campaign event at the Prince George's Democratic Club, Maryland . Prince George County, MD: 12 May 1960. A group of items collected by Paul B. Garbelman, President of the Prince George County Democratic Club, who invited Senator and Presidential candidate Kennedy to speak at the Club. Included in the archive is the podium that Kennedy spoke from (approximately 46 x 22 inches), split to one rail, some normal wear from use), a program from the event signed in ink by Kennedy. Fine. Includes a recent letter of authenticity from Lion Heart Autographs. Also in the lot are a large framed photograph of a smiling Kennedy standing at the podium and one other large photograph depicting Kennedy seated near the podium, two medals including a 1961 inauguration medal (diameter 3 inches), a reel-to-reel audio tape with Kennedy's speech from the event and a DVD with video footage of Kennedy arriving to the event and audio recordings of campaign messages meant to be broadcast from megaphone equipped cars, and the John F. Kennedy Memorial Album. The archive also accompanied by the signed attestation of Mr. Garbelman's son. A unique item from the 1960 Kennedy presidential campaign, the podium at which Kennedy addressed a group at the Prince George's County Democratic Club. Provenance: Paul B.
