The work includes a Futurist manifesto, New Principles of Creation , demanding a new language called zaum (see lot 319) that adopts a typically Futurist take on the usage of grammar, syntax, punctuation & rhythm, and is accompanied by similarly wilful, unconventional illustrations by several of the preeminent Russian Futurist artists.
