W. P. Hacker, Importer and Wholesale Dealer in China, Glass, Queensware & Fancy Goods … North Second Street, Philadelphia. Queensware and Glass in the Original Package; or Repacked to Order.
Philadelphia: F. Kuhl, c. 1850. Lithograph (535 x 350 mm). Condition: small loss to upper right margin, a few spots of soiling. From North Second Street, W. P. Hacker's four-story building is seen. In the windows of the upper floors many of his wares are displayed, while on the street a horse-drawn cart is being loaded. The interior of the store is visible through open doors, revealing racks of dishes and other wares as well as a young man hoisting a barrel to an upper floor. Not in Wainwright.
