Property of a Private CollectorHugó Scheiber1873 - 1950Can Can Dancers signed Scheiber Hugo (lower right) charcoal, pastel, coloured crayon and pencil on paper65.7 by 52.2cm., 25⅞ by 20½in.Framed: 96 by 81cm., 37¾ by 31⅞in.Executed circa 1930. This work is recorded in the Peter Molnos archives.Condition reportExecuted on cream wove paper, laid down on board. The sheet is slightly time-stained and the board is slightly bowed. There are artist's pinholes towards the lower corners, towards the upper right corner and one to the centre of the upper edge. There is general wear to the extreme edges, with some nicks and small tears, and there is some creasing and wear to the corners. There are some discoloured marks in places and some water staining to the work, most prominently to the lower edge, along the left edge and to the centre of the upper edge. There are some scuffs and surface scratches in places. This work is in overall fairly good condition. The lot is sold in the condition it is in at the time of sale. The
