Engraved title and 53 plates and plans, a few folding. Modern half calf -- Giulio Cesare CAPACCIO. La vera antichita di Pozzuolo . Rome: Filippo de'Rossi, 1652. 8°. Large folding engraved plan (with a few repaired tears) and 9 folding plates, a few woodcuts in the text. (Somewhat spotted and stained throughout, title-page supplied from a smaller copy, slight worming in upper fore-corners at the beginning.) Contemporary vellum with a contemporary brown morocco spine gilt. First published in Naples, 1607. BL 17th-Century Italian I, p. 179 -- Domenico Antonio PARRINO.
