Photo-album - journey in Palestine: Egypt, Eretz Israel, Lebanon and Syria, [ca. 1890]. The album contains approx. 180 photographs, approx. 30 of them taken in Eretz Israel, depicting the settlement of Kaneh, the Dome of the Rock and the Temple Mount, "Eshel Avraham" (Hebron), next to Rachel's Tomb, Jordan River, Ramla, and other sites (most photographs are titled in pencil on album's leaves). Other photographs depict the travel by sea, Ismailia, Cairo, the Pyramids and the Sphinx, Baalbek, Damascus, and more. Photographs: 8.5X8.5 cm, overall good condition. Minor tears to some photographs. Album: 26.5X25.5 cm with heavy cardboard leaves, fair condition. Leaves are not bound, some photographs detached. Tears and breaks at leaves' margins.
