Types: 5:280G (title), 1:180G (section incipits), 4:93 (content headings of sections), 2:82 a (text), 6:64G (prolegomena to distinctions). 3- to 8-line initial spaces, most with printed guide-letters. Initials, paragraph marks, and capital strokes in first table in red. Woodcut calligraphic T on title, Kesler device [Weil 40] on Q6v. S6+1 not sewn with the quire but inserted as a fold tipped to the inner margin of S7 with the blank leaf excised. (Some worming slightly affecting text, first leaf torn with slight loss, occasional light staining.) Binding : contemporary Augsburg binding of blind-tooled calf over unbevelled wooden boards, by Kyriss shop 80: Fächer frei: border of deer within a fence, central panel of lattice tool, compartments filled with pomegranate and leafy stamps, evidence of ten center- and cornerpiece bosses and two fore-edge clasps, evidence of chain staple at top of rear board, remains of early label on upper cover, old paper spine labels (somewhat worn and wormed, leather missing from corner and head of spine, without the clasps and bosses).
