Second edition, preferred over the first because it includes the chart of the western and southern oceans, as well as the text relating to Greenland and whaling. Narbrough sailed on board the Batchelour in 1699 as part of a commission to find a western opening for the Northwest Passage and explore the west coast of the Americas.
