Manufacturer: Clewell-Owens Description: Early Clewell copper clad Owens vase with deeply incised cyclamen done by an artist whose initials appear to be EJ. The Owens twist vase is shape number 115 which is clearly visible along with EJ’s initials. Very nice indeed is an original Clewell paper label which reads “Clewell Canton, O. No. 115” with the shape number written in in pen. Height 5 5/8 inches. Excellent condition and great patina. We find this an interesting pairing since Owens went out of business in 1907 and Clewell did not begin production until 1906 so the window of opportunity is rather small.
