Half-title. 8 hand-coloured lithographic plates heightened with gum arabic by Fairland after William Nicholson after paintings by William Shiels (Occasional light soiling, browning and spotting, plate III with three tiny patches of adhesion.) Contemporary half green morocco over marbled-paper covered boards, marbled endpapers, gilt edges (rebacked preserving original spine, extremities lightly rubbed). FIRST EDITION.
