All cases empty. Provenance:Marvin Lieber Collection of Early Photographica Condition: [1-20] with surface crack to cover extending from eagle's body down and to the right, ending at hook-and-eye closure. Another, fainter, crack extends from upper right down toward olive branches. [3-57] with surface soil to cover, heavy nicks and chips to cover edges/corners, and crack to bottom edge. [2-107] with discoloration to back cover, upper hinge separation, nicks/chips to edges and corners of covers esp. back cover upper left corner. Case made to house four images, no velvet pad. [1-165] with surface soil to front cover. [1-139] with cracking around closure clasp. Case made for two images, no velvet pad.
