Contemporary brown sheep, illustration of the Kiev St. Sophia cathedral blocked in gilt on front covers, white watered-silk endpapers and gilt turn-ins, edges gilt (lightly rubbed). Provenance : Nicholas II (bookplate) -- Paul M. Fekula. FROM THE LIBRARY OF TSAR NICHOLAS II with his bookplate. Trachevskii was the author of popular histories as well as scholarly dissertations based on newly discovered archival material. Fekula 3005 (this copy). (2)
