Included are a souvenir program for Houdini’s final American tour, two copies of his “Margery” pamphlet, various newspaper clippings and advertisements for Houdini performances (including complete newspaper pages and broadsheets), a reproduction invitation to the Final Houdini Séance, stills from the 1953 Paramount Pictures Houdini biopic starring Tony Curtis and much more. Accompanying the Houdini items is ephemera related to other “golden age” magicians, including Blackstone, Thurston, and their contemporaries. 1910s – 80s.
