Between the printed signatures is "Your evidence of the great crime committed at my Theatre, on the 14th of April 1865. is(? semi-legible) all authentic." Below, "washington, D.c 1865." Also included are two pages from a 4.5 x 7.5 in. obl. autograph book with John T. Ford's signature on one page (protected by the second page). Condition: Card with light toning.
