First edition of the series of engravings by Fialetti, which contains various drawing studies. Fialetti was trained attending Tintoretto's workshop, thus placing himself in continuity with late Venetian Mannerism and laying the artistic foundations for the subsequent Baroque era. The final two plates of the volume are engraved by Palma il Giovane (1549-1628) belonging to the same generation of artists as Fialetti. 4to oblungo (177 x 245mm). Engraved title, second title "Tutte le parti del corpo humano diviso in piu pezzi" on leaf [8] and 36 engraved plates (of 40/42?) (first gatherings detached, marginal stains not touching the engravings, soiling). Contemporary boards (some wear and soiling).
