Situated close to the New York Stock Exchange it was where "businessmen go to get their rocks off during the lunch hour (it's called "funch")" (The Village Voice, September 27, 1976). The bath house survived long after the other gay bath houses were shut down by the city, and ultimately closed in 2004.
