上海，上海美術館，「上海雙年展：都市營造」，2002年至2003年，版數不詳Catalogue noteThis series of photographs, Here or There?, records the installation exhibited at the Shanghai Biennale in 2002, in which Lin Tianmiao created mannequins with sophisticated costumes made from fabric and human hair. These mannequins were set against a video back-drop made by her husband, the video artist Wang Gongxin. The mannequins reflect her memories of intimate moments from her life, such as pregnancy and childbirth. Their positioning in front of moving images of desolate and dreamlike landscapes creates a striking surrealist effect.----------------------------------------------
