Escapement model, brass spring driven movement has a skeletonized detent escapement at the top with large balance wheel rotating on a helical spring, powered by a spring below with wind in the bottom of the case; on a turned walnut base with glass dome, movement plate is signed "D.J. Moore, Berea, Ohio, 1983", bottom plate is numbered "F41335" and is in good running condition. Glass dome is a replacement. 8.5 in. high x 6.5 in. dia. Weight: 7 lbs.
