Cricket books, histories, handbooks, prints photographs etc. Large box comprising an interesting mixed selection of cricket ephemera. Books include eight issues of 'Know Your Cricket County Series' booklets for Essex, Glamorgan, Kent, Lancashire, Middlesex, Surrey, Sussex and Yorkshire. Published by Findon 1949. 'The Club Cricketers Official Handbook', Cricket & Sports Publishers, London 1913. 'The Changing Face of Cricket', Learie Constantine and Denzil Batchelor, 'uncorrected proof copy from Eyre & Spottiswoode' issued prior to publication in 1966. '1920- A Season in Statistical Analysis' published by The Cricket Society. Bound in blue boards, original wrappers retained. 'Sport in South Africa. Report of the Sports Council's Fact-Finding Delegation' published 1980. 'Rules of the Marylebone Cricket Club' handbooks for 1917, 1925 and 1938. 'This is Lancashire', souvenir brochure for 1972, signed to the autograph page by Jack Bond, Ken Shuttleworth and Frank Hayes. Souvenir tour brochure for the first All India tour to England 1932. Other items include two large blue folders comprising prints and photographs including an official mono photograph of the 1954/55 M.C.C. team to tour Australia. The photograph laid to mount, signed to the border by fifteen members of the touring party including Hutton (captain), Simpson, Bedser, Cowdrey, Graveney, Statham, Wardle, Loader etc. Fading to some signatures. Also a Chevalier Taylor print of Gilbert Jessop. An original page from 'Lloyds Weekly News' dated 24th October 1915 reporting on the death of W.G. Grace. A collection of Cricket Society 'News Bulletin' 1979s-1980s. An original Slazenger advertising showcard. 'Famous County Cricketers' booklet of twenty four cards in strips of three issued by the National Spastics Society, 1958. 'Surrey C.C.C. Cricket Champions 1971' headscarf etc. Generally good condition
