CORONELLI, Vincenzo Maria (1650-1718). Atlante Veneto , Part I. Venice: appresso Girolamo Albrizzi, 1691. 2° (480 x 350mm). Engraved frontispiece 'Gli Argonauti', title, portrait of Francesco Morosini 39 engraved maps and gore sections, 35 double-page, 29 engraved celestial charts and nautical plates, 9 double-page, 3 head-pieces, 3 initials and 2 illustrations. (Some very light staining to the upper margins of the early leaves.) Contemporary half calf (spine worn, upper cover detached). Coronelli's first volume of his famous Atlante Veneto. The volume includes a group of fine engravings of ships, a series of celestial charts, various gore sections for globes, and maps of the World, the Americas, Pacific, Africa, Asia, Europe, and Italy.
