Winchester Pre-64 Model 94 carbine built by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1958 and engraved post factory by an unknown engraver. 20" blued round Winchester Proof Steel barrel with Winchester Address in caliber 30-30 WIN with Winchester hooded ramp front sight and Winchester 22G rear sight. Blued full coverage Western scene engraving on right side with floral vignettes and gold inlay sunrise/sunset scene over a wagon train on left side with barrel having floral pattern around sight and breech. Winchester standard walnut buttstock with checkered steel buttplate with matching forearm with blued barrel band. CONDITION: 90% blue with some light handling marks. Wood has 90% original varnish with some light flaking and handling dings. Excellent bore and mechanics. PROVENANCE: From the collection of Lieutenant General Carson Able Roberts (USMC 1929-1964).
