German underlever hammerless two barrel matching number set built prior to World War II by "P. OBERHAMMER MUNICH". Barrel set number one features an unusual 27" Krupp steel barreled double rifle drilling known as a "Doppelbuchsdrilling" with two side by side "9.3x72R" barrels over a 16 gauge shotgun barrel with matted rib, raised platform blade front sight, extractors, rear folding sight and rail mounted Hensoldt 4x single post scope in custom mounts. Barrel set number two has three 16 gauge barrels and is 28" long made from Wittener Excelsior Steel with full matted rib, twin bead sights and extractors marked on rib "P.OBERHAMMER KGL:BAYR:HOFBUCHSENMACHER MUNCHEN". Under lever hammerless boxlock action with light scroll engraving, rear fold up peep sight, triple triggers(front being a set) with top tang safety. Each set of barrels comes with a wedge held checkered splinter forearm with leaf carved tip and base. Highly figured checkered round knob pistol grip stock with cheekpiece and bullet trap in butt. Comes with tool for forearm. CONDITION: 90% original barrel blue with handling and storage marks. Wood has been cleaned with light coat of linseed oil added. Excellent bores and mechanics with scope having working but needing cleaned optics and is loose on rail. Unusual and rare set.
