Model 1841 white buff belt is 1.8" wide with standing loop, punched with several extra hole. Black leather musket sling is "U.S." stamped, complete with brass hook. Lot also includes a M1842 socket bayonet with 18" blade, complete with brass tipped leather scabbard, belt loop constructed with copper rivets. Provenance: John Ashworth Collection Condition: Fair to good. Belt age stained, minor crazing on the sling, bayonet in even dark patina, leather finish flaking on the scabbard.
