12 gauge, 28" barrel length, S/N 3045866. Left side of the receiver marked "Remington Sportsman 48." Right side of the barrel marked with Remington address and patent dates. Left side of barrel marked with chamber size and gauge. Blue finish with checkered walnut pistol grip stock and forearm. Single rear bead sight. Black Remington buttplate. Condition: The barrel retains most of the blue with some scratches and muzzle wear. At the end of the barrel there is a sticky residue from tape. The receiver retains some of the blue with wear to the edges. The stock is good with nicks and dings. Tape residue on the stock as well. Bore is good. Mechanically good.
