Unknown photographer: An original black-and-white press photograph of the American crooner Frank Sinatra (1915–1998) during a Los Angeles show in April 1967. Front with cropping instructions and retouching. Back with dating, press cutting and archive search words, “Sinatra, Frank (Singer)”. Photo size 23×18 cm. Frame size 43×33 cm. This photograph is interesting because it shows how image creating - or manipulation - was done before the computer age, namely with fluid colour and a brush. It is evident that the newspaper editor only wanted Frank Sinatra's head and upper body in the final article. The result can be seen on the back of the image.
This is an original black-and-white press photograph from 1967, which shows normal signs of age and handling. Back somewhat yellowed. Please note that Bruun Rasmussen Auctioneers has not physically examined this item, the estimate is solely based on the seller’s photographic material. Therefore, we cannot provide a description of the condition, and it is not possible to request a report on the item’s condition.
