Steel swept hilt comprising three outer and four inner rings, both joined to the knucklebow; inner rings applied with a small, pierced plate; recurved quillons; slightly faceted, tapered cylindrical pommel with button; grip wrapped with alternating strands of straight and twisted steel wire. Condition: Showing scattered areas of light pitting. Hilt with fractured at juncture of knucklebow and lower quillon. Grip wrapping loose. See Illustration
