Spine stress, corner creases, edgewear, a few small chips and short tears, 1.5" split to bottom spine, 1x2" corner chip to 1st page, 1" tear to last page. GPAnalysis: No reported sales in this grade. A 4.0 sold for $305 in 9/22. #18: VG (4.0). Mild spine stress and rubs, reading creases to right edge of front cover, some offsetting to logo area, 1/2" tear to back cover. Cream to off-white pages. Ish #16 features several glamor girl panels by Ed Winiarski clearly cribbed from Jack Kamen. In #18, Winiarski ups his swipe game by ripping off Wally Wood. The final panel of the fourth page of “He’s Trying to Kill Me!” depicts a lady motorist losing control of her car when her brakes crap out. The panel is a gender-swapped version of Wood’s hit-and-run cover to Shock SuspenStories #4, minus the victim’s reflection in the windshield. A limited edition of ten hardcover catalogues is available, in addition to a few dozen softcovers. Fun reference, great keepsake, fully illustrated, chockablock with obscure facts, gags, bon mots.
