Blue silk ribbon, 2.25 x 4 in. With figure on horseback at center, representing King William III, above the phrase, "No Surrender," presumably a reference to the Battle of the Boyne. The same image and slogan appear on a variety of 19th century Staffordshire plates and figurines. With "Abraham Lincoln / True Blue" below. It is unclear why Abraham Lincoln is referenced, and we have not been able to determine what this ribbon represents. Ca 1880-1900 based on fabric and style. Condition: Ribbon may have been trimmed along top and bottom. With some light fraying along top and bottom edges. Light folds.
