A well engineered 5in gauge model of the British Railways (ex Great Western Railway 57xx class 0-6-0 pannier tank No 1500 built by L W Richards -- 14 x 35in (35.5 x 89cm) With braized superheated copper boiler with fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, injector, whistle, steam brake, clack and blowdown valves. Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with Walschaert's valve gear, finely fluted connecting rods and detailed crossheads, cab controlled draincocks, injector, whistle, eccentric driven feed pump and by-pass, ratchet operated lubriator, steam operated brake gear, sanding boxes and pipes, hand feed pump, tank filler caps, vents and lifting eyes, rivet detail, steps hand and lamp irons and lamps. Finished in BR black livery. Carrying cradle
