A GERMAN TWO-HAND PROCESSIONAL SWORD in early 17th Century style, with broad double-edged blade, the ricasso with two sharply-pointed side-lugs, flat quillons with scrolled ends (one scroll missing) and large side-ring on each side enclosing a fleur-de-lys, spirally-fluted leather-covered wooden grip studded with domed headed iron nails (leather damaged), and heavy segmented iron pommel with punched and line decoration; and a brass and copper scabbard for a Swiss ('Holbein') dagger, in late 16th Century style, the front cast and pierced with a battle scene The first 45¾in. blade (2)
