A finely engineered and finished 7¼in gauge model of the Hunslet 0-4-0 narrow gauge saddle tank locomotive 'Glyder' built by A.Goodley --27½ x 39in (70 x 99cm) With brazed superheated copper boiler with fittings including twin water gauges with gauge glass protectors and shut-off cocks, pressure gauge, two injector, whistle, clack and blowdown valves. Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with Stephenson's link reverse, studded stuffing boxes, cab controlled draincocks, mechanical lubricator, wick type lubricator boxes and pipework, working leaf springs, two injectors, whistle, hand operated brake gear, tank drain cock, opening spectable plate windows, rivetting and other details. Finished in red, black, polished brightwork and yellow lining. See illustration
