Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with Stephenson's link reverse, studded stuffing boxes, cab controlled draincocks, mechanical lubricator, wick type lubricator boxes and pipework, working leaf springs, two injectors, whistle, hand operated brake gear, tank drain cock, opening spectable plate windows, rivetting and other details.
