Pattern 1853 Enfield rifled musket made by "Wilkinson" in London, England circa 1860. 39" 3 banded rifled musket with rifle sights and percussion lock marked "Wilkinson/London" with no other markings except a name inscribed in script on lower rear tang of "S.C. DENNISON". Walnut full military stock with brass hardware and the number "581" stamped rear of lower tang. Gun could be a Confederate used weapon. CONDITION: 80% remaining in the white barrel finish with some light pitting and discoloration. Lock has faded to a gray silvery patina. Wood has been lightly cleaned with handling dings and marks. Dark shootable bore with good mechanics.
