A builder's mirror-back half model of the S.S. St. Eric , built by John Blumer & Co. Sunderland for A.O. Wilson Esq. Gothenburg, with cutaway masts, derricks, stayed funnel, anchor with 'D' chain, steam winch, fairleads, bollards, ventilators, rope drum, deck rails, companionways, hatches, deck winches, superstructure with wheelhouse and open bridge, engine room lights, inked doors and panels, aft steering position with helm and binnacle, steering chains, two lifeboats in davits with bottom boards and thwarts and other details. The hull, finished in pink, black and lacquer, with silver and gold-plated fittings (some decay and some loose pieces) , is mounted in the original mahogany glazed case with front-silvered mirror (some decay) -- 19.3.4 x 76½in.
